Mike and Fiona Jameson
988 Viscount Drive

Near the end of a quiet cul de sac, this sloping front garden has evolved into a combination of shrubs and trees that form a vista as pretty and peaceful-looking from the street as it is when coming out the front door!

The unusual Thujopsis Dolobrata Nana beside the front steps offers a soft and welcoming mound of dense, finely-textured evergreen. Commonly known as Hiba Arborvitae, it complements the crisp lines of the striking mid-century home, as well as the entry’s clean steps and porch.

Progressing outwards toward the street are mature abelias and a beautiful white Crepe Myrtle planted by the former owners.

Mike and Fiona have added Japanese Maples, azaleas, and other beautiful shrubs. Because of light and shade changes over the years, some hydrangeas have perished, but will probably be replaced with some new, more sun-tolerant species.

The order and neatness of their landscape reflects homeowners who cherish the beautiful home and land they own in Avondale Estates.
